GRACY AFRICAN HAIR BRAIDING

I want to preface this by saying I LOVE the work these braiders do…unfortunately if you have fine hair/tender headed this may not be the shop for you. The first time my braids were tight but bearable, they loosened up around the third day and last for months! My second (and last time:( ) getting my hair braided at Gracie’s I asked for them to braid lighter but I suppose they heard pull tighter. I thought it would be similar to last time but instead my scalp bled and hair fell out by the root within days. All of my edges are gone. Again, I wish this hadn’t happened because I loved the shop, their work, and looked forward to being a longtime customer. I’m going to miss this place but I probably won’t wear braids for a long time after this. Just let this be a warning to anyone with fine/loose

Got my hair done 3 months ago I was so happy with the service that was provided clean nice group of ladies who took their time on my hair I would definitely recommend and I'm going back!

If you grew up with your mother or grandmother doing your hair with spirituals playing in the background ..... By seating in her chair idk why but you Will Be in your feelings coming here ..I am not sure if it's from simply how gentle she is or how she softly sings along to the spirituals/gospel music playing... But she will have you reminiscing about being a little girl again and your mom or grandma doing your hair😭 because that's exactly how I felt! 🥰 She did a wonderful job on my hair. I plan to have her be my main person who braids my hair and make it grow... I can tell she has those healing/hair growth hands. She's not heavy handed or pulls the hair too much she does braids fast but tight so your style will last longer than you'll expect. .. I literally have nothing but GREAT THINGS

I have been here a few times.. I love that when I call no matter what they are able to get me in and out and they are very professional! Definitely recommend

She did both my daughter’s hair and it was beautiful. My youngest daughter would cry a lot but she was very patient and took pictures of them. I’d definitely go back. Prices for braids for both my daughters was $280. Pretty decent pricing!!!
