Gordon Salon Evanston

I booked an appointment at this salon for 10:00 AM, and I arrived at 10:02 AM. The stylist was supposed to be ready for me, but she was already working on someone else during my appointment time. Because of this, my wedding was at 11:50 AM, and since the stylist didn't start until 10:26 AM, I was late for my ceremony. I have nothing bad to say about the salon itself, or about the wonderful and sweet hairstyle she created, but the only issue is that they should respect people's time. I booked my appointment for 10:00 AM so I could leave early, but unfortunately, I had to wait 26 minutes past my arrival time, which delayed my other plans. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

I have long hair that went a little too long without a proper trim. Elise provided excellent service and calm direction for getting it back to a healthy state and easy styling. The vibe of the shop is also great!

I’ve been searching for a great hairstylist since I moved to the U.S. 10 years ago — and I finally found her! Rachel is absolutely amazing. She really knows what to do with hair and makes you feel comfortable and understood from the moment you sit in her chair. Not only is she a talented stylist, but also such a lovely person. The salon itself is beautiful — stylish and modern, with a wonderful atmosphere and people. They even give you a relaxing head massage, and the shampoo chairs are so comfortable that you could easily fall asleep! You truly feel pampered and relaxed in this place. I’m so happy with my hair and will definitely be coming back to Rachel again! 💇‍♀️✨

I switched salons after 20-plus years for a fresh perspective with a different stylist. I could not be more pleased. Dalayne is an excellent stylist and colorist, and the salon staff is friendly and more than helpful. Excellent experience overall!
