Good Day Barbershop

I first discovered this place on Instagram. I’ve been searching for a Barber who can do a skin fade on my son. After trying several places, I had given up and was cutting his hair myself (to be fair, I was a Hairdresser for 20 years but fades were not my specialty…). So, when I saw that Tanner offered skin fades as one of his services on his website, I was hopeful! Last-minute, I booked an appointment yesterday and took my son in. YAY! Tanner did a GREAT job!! We will definitely be going back! And, BONUS, Mabel the shop dog is the sweetest greeter when you come through the door.

I could not speak more highly of Tanner at Good Day Barbershop! My son had long hair and requested a drastic cut; completely changing his “look.” Tanner took his time, made sure my son was comfortable (as he watched his locks fall to the floor).. he lined him up so nicely, took detailed time, and gave him a BEAUTIFUL Burst Fade! My teenager is ecstatic, and he does not impress easily tbh.. You can tell Tanner takes his art very seriously, and he makes absolutely sure his customers are happy! He is definitely an expert in his craft. Professional and genuine. A GEM in Grass Valley for sure!

Love this little shop! Tanner did a great cut on my son's hair. He was intentional with every cut. We were both very happy with the result. The whole crew is super sweet & kind. Thank you Tanner, Isaac and Trevor!

Tanner and Isaac run the best barbershop in town, no questions asked. Isaac has been cutting my hair for 7+ years now and each time he kills it. My buddy sees Tanner and his haircuts always look phenomenal. I can’t recommend these guys enough. The guys are super nice. I love going in there as I feel welcome and taken care of each time.
