I could not recommend getting a haircut from Chelsea enough. She knows curly hair, listens to her clients, and is happy to be there. I always feel my most beautiful when I have a haircut by her. Her talent is not cheap, but it is so worth it!! I have lots of wavy hair and always get a razor cut. I see Chelsea at Goldust Studios. I’ve had a long layered style with curtain-y bangs, which I loved! My hair looked really healthy and moved so nice whether I styled it or not. She also gave me a curly consultation and taught me some techniques to wear it natural. Really activated my “waves” into curls. Then this summer she gave me a big chop, sort of a long pixie/mini bob look and I loved it! I had a couple of different inspo pics and she created a style that was even better than I imagined! Co

I have been seeing Kelly for haircuts and foil highlights for over 7 years now! Kelly suggested I try a wavy bob haircut 2 years ago and I never looked back. Have loved my new look and each time my color turns out exactly as we discussed. I can’t say enough good things about Kelly as a person too! She makes the long foil highlight appointment go by so fast as we talk for hours! Wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair!!

This place is an absolute gem. The space itself is welcoming, calming, and genuinely beautiful. You feel taken care of the moment you walk in. Emily is a genius when it comes to both color and cut. I have received the most gender-affirming haircuts of my life here. I leave every appointment feeling like myself, but elevated. Cannot recommend enough.

Goldust is the best. I met Kelly through a friend during a time I was growing my hair long. As a dude, a hair salon was never on my radar. However, it’s now one of my favorite places to spend time. Everyone who works here is a wonderful, warm and just fun to be around. The salon itself is as warm as the lovely folx who work there. I see Kelly for a cut and color 2/3x per year. She quite literally turned me into a hair model (check the website). I get complimented on it constantly. Most importantly people are consistently surprised that this perfect head of California surf hair blonde isn’t natural.

I’ve been seeing Kelly for years and I wouldn’t trust my curly/wavy hair with anyone else. She truly understands my hair texture and always cuts it in a way that fits my lifestyle and my face shape. She listens carefully to what I want, gives honest suggestions, and never pushes something that I am not sure about.
