Golden Touch Haircuts & Blowdry

The issue here isn’t the service, it’s the front desk payment process. I missed an appointment because I wasn’t feeling well and was told there would be a cancellation fee, which I understand. What concerned me was being asked to read my full card number out loud over the phone so it could be charged. That is not a secure or standard way to handle payments. If a cancellation policy depends on having a card on file, that should be done at booking. Otherwise, a secure payment link should be used. This is a simple process fix that would protect both clients and the business.

Been going to her for a little over a year now. Service is always top quality. Great advice and conversation in general. Good prices compared to the rest of the market. Not too rough on the scalp and overall excellent hairstyling abilities. 100% recommend

Literally the worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. I showed multiple reference photos and ended up not getting anything remotely close. This is the second time I’ve come to golden touch and have had a bad haircut. I will not be returning as it doesn’t seem that they are able to cut any hair besides the sides of one’s head.

It was seemingly evident today that one should not book with “whoever is available” on the booking website when coming to get a haircut here. When I came in I showed a reference picture to Missael (the same reference picture I’ve used before here (which I had my hair done by another stylist at this same salon who was great)) he said it would be no problem. But about ten minutes in when I thought to strike up conversation, Missael told me that he was listening to music because I was getting a complicated haircut. Which, to me, a burst fade doesn’t necessarily seem all to complicated. But I digress. He has a keen eye for detail and consistently leaves me feeling confident and refreshed after each haircut. The appointment system is a major plus, as I never have to wait around for my turn like in other shops. The atmosphere is awesome, filled with good vibes and friendly staff. It’s clear that everyone at Golden Touch takes pride in their work, and it shows in the quality and professionalism of their service.
