Golden State Strands is truly a hidden gem. The salon has such a welcoming, inviting atmosphere, and everyone there is so friendly. I saw Emilia for a haircut, and she completely transformed my long, limp hair into gorgeous, bouncy layers. Her attention to detail and great conversation made the whole experience even better. I can’t recommend her enough for any haircut needs—and honestly, her scalp massage alone is reason to come back!

Emilia is amazing at what she does! She’s always honest about what’s achievable and prioritizes keeping my hair healthy, which I truly appreciate. She’s so personable and makes every appointment fun. I haven’t gone to anyone else since my first appointment with her back in 2021, and I always leave feeling fabulous. Can’t wait to be back in her chair soon!

I had such a great experience with Izzy, my hair turned out so well, it’s everything I asked for and more. She was so nice and I had such a nice time in her chair, I can tell she’s experienced and loves what she does. I highly recommend and will definitely book again! I don’t get my hair dyed often, and she worked with me to blend the highlights into my root, so I don’t have to touch it up as frequently!

Emilia is an incredible stylist! She is warm, welcoming, personable and yet amazingly focused on the job. Her attention to detail is a whole other level! I went in for a partial highlight and cut. I was switching stylists as my previous one had burnt my skin with bleach. I was really worried about finding a good stylist who took the time and had the patience to do a well-thought through and professional job. I found the stylist of my dreams in Emilia. She spent a good amount of time understanding what I wanted and worked so hard to cover every grey! Her haircut gave me bounce, shine and volume all at the same time! Emilia is one of the most talented hair stylists I’ve met! She is genuine and kind, and makes you feel so comfortable. She listens to what you want {or say you want haha} and gives her honest feedback, while respecting your opinion and wants. She explains what she does and why, which is a great addition to learn more about your own hair! She gives relaxing massages at the shampoo bowl that I wish I could extend haha. Her blow dry and styling are SO good! HIGHLY recommend!!
