Golden Scissors

This place is awesome, especially with my 5-year-old son who does not like the sound of clippers and is very ticklish. All the staff here is great. They're very patient and loving with my child and they're quick and affordable.

Amazing stylists and really good service.

My two boys and I have been coming here for about 9 years. We had an amazing experience with the previous owners and the same amazing experience with the new owners. We had moved to Ventura right about the time the ownership transition had occurred, and so we didn't come for about 8 months or so. But, after trying to find a new place, we decided to go back to Golden Scissors. We now drive from Ventura to Port Hueneme at least every two weeks for haircuts and it is worth every bit of the quality and experience. Honestly, it feels like it's just another family member cutting our hair. To me, that is worth the trek across town. Thank you Golden Scissors!!!

This place is great! Prices are very reasonable and I've been very happy with their customer service. Maria definitely listens and respects the hair color and style you're going for and will do as you ask. I was hesitant to get some highlights but when I explained I wanted to go for something subtle,I was very pleased with the results!!!
