Golden Nails & Tanning

I will let the photos speak for themselves. I was not able to get the name of the nail tech , but she was an older lady that sits two desk behind the front counter (unsure if they move around ) when I asked her about the nails after seeing how upset my daughter was , she got very defensive and asked me what was wrong with them. They closed at seven so instead of staying a few Minutes to get the nails off , she wrapped them and told my daughter to take them off in 1/2 an hour . She also got very upset when I she saw me taking photos of her nails , telling me I don’t need to take pictures .

Kim is the best nail tech in lake county! she is always accommodating to my nails designs and does an AMAZING JOB! the pedicures and pedicure chairs will DEFINITELY help you relax...its GREAT! Shop is clean and professional and they take walk-ins and appointments! highly recommend! I've been a client for YEARS!!

I come here fairly often as I'm never organized enough to make appointments for nails and they have always taken me as a walk-in. They are good about asking to ensure you get what you want. My only "complaint" is that service is not super consistent between people and so sometimes is AWESOME service and sometimes it's just ok. So I would suggest asking for a specific tech or making an appointment with them specifically.

I went a couple of years without coming back to Golden Nails because of the poor customer service in the past. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned because I desperately needed my nails done and I regret it. I came in for a fill-in. While getting my nails done the nail tech who worked on my nails (Teddy) stuck his fingernails underneath my Acrylic and removed my previous set without asking me if I wanted my previous nails take off. This was a very unprofessional way to remove nails. Also, I got French. The application did not include me washing my hands or, proper drying for my gel nails. The nail tech seemed to be in a rush and I don’t know for what reason. My cuticles are messed up and I have residue of polish, acrylic, and gel all over my nail beds. I’m very dissatisfied

Kim is great....always so pleased with her work! Nice atmosphere, and clean!
