Gold Coast Barbers - Syosset

My usual place was closed, so I came here because my brother had a good experience. I walked in and was told it would be about 30 minutes, but I could wait, which I did. I never thought this place would be so busy on a Thursday morning, but there was a constant stream of people coming in. Chase had an exceptional attention to detail and care for what he was doing, and he was very personable; it was as if I had been there countless times beforehand. I am very happy with how the haircut turned out, and I've received compliments on how good it looks. I will definitely be back, and would suggest them to any guy looking for a barber. This is definitely a dude's barbershop; signed hockey jerseys on the wall, 70's/80's rock music on the speakers (I think Black Sabbath?), and some sort of foreign

My go to barber. I drove from the Bronx to come here. That is how good they are. I come for a beard trim. I have a large beard. They do great work!

Unfortunately I had the worst haircut by Mike Coyne at the Syosset location so safe to say the first and last time I’ll frequent this shop. My hair was so uneven, not blended, and choppy. You know it’s bad when you get home and you get laughed at saying what the heck happened here. A few weeks later, a new barber at a new shop said whoever cut your hair really messed this up, it’s so uneven and not blended it will be a challenge to fix this up and get it regrowing right. My left side was way longer than my top short right side. Mike seemed like a good guy and seems to get great reviews so I’m not sure what happened here or what the deal is.

Far and away the best haircut I have received on the Island. Chase cut my hair and was very attentive, precise, and friendly. He ensured the cut was what I wanted at each step and topped it all off with a straight razor shave on my neck. The shop was beautiful. The rest of the staff was very nice. Square appointments and payment made everything convenient and efficient.

I love this barbershop so much. They did such a great job on my hair in the greatest barber I’ve ever ever met in my entire life. I recommend this to anyone that wants a haircut. They do a great line they cut my hair even do I like the best barbers in the whole world I recommend this to anyone.
