God's Glory African Hair Braiding

I was looking for a place near by base that would do braids/ passion twists & this location had popped up. I also had a friend get her hair braided here and she really liked the results. The location is really close by Naval Station Norfolk if you are looking for a braider close by base. I washed & conditioned my hair before coming. I also brought my own hair for the passion twists. They were able to work in accordance with my work schedule which was really nice. They really went above and beyond for me and I definitely appreciate it. This is my first time getting passion twists as well as trying a new place so I wasn’t sure how they would turn out. Overall I’m very satisfied with the results! They did such a great job!!! BEST PLACE IN TOWN(.)‼️‼️‼️‼️ The services provided here @ Gods Glory African Hair Braiding is by far the BEST in the Hampton Roads area. Estelle, has been my primary hairbraider for the past 5yrs. My go to are normally box braids, knotless, or cornrows! Recently, I got faux locs done, and I couldn't be happier how they turned out. It's been over a month since I got them done, and I'm still receiving COMPLIMENTS on how good they look🤗. The new location on Hampton Blvd is super close to the naval base and is in perfect proximity to ODU campus for ALL my STUDENTS in the area.. I HIGHly recommend this place.. Absolutely loved my knotless braids. I had an appt scheduled on the wrong date for another salon and had to cancel it. I stumbled upon this salon and they were able to get me in same day. They were friendly and they were so fast. I will be a reoccurring customer.

I took my 7 year old twins girls to get their hair braided over the weekend. I wanted to find a place closer to home, not too expensive, & someone whom has patience & experience braiding children’s hair. She was very accommodating and patient. I must add she also was quick & efficient. The salon is spacious and comfy seating available for clients.

I wanted to wait before i made this review so that i could see how the braids would hold up And i have to say my experience with these ladies was 10 out of 10 they were very quick and made sure to finish my hair in a reasonable amount of time. I received full boho knotless braids. The hair was provided and i provided my own boho hair. I would definitely recommend them they were very nice and got me in and out. I have currently had these braids in for almost 2 months and they are still holding up great the last pic is how they currently look. Will definitely be returning soon to get some color.
