Glo Tanning

I genuinely love this Glo Tanning location because it offers so much more than the Basswood location, which is closer to me. The equipment and overall options here are better, and that’s the reason I continue to come to this location. That said, I also dread coming here sometimes because the customer service is a huge hit or miss. I visited yesterday and had a very off-putting experience with an employee named Danneth. When I walked in, there was no greeting. She was assisting another customer, briefly acknowledged me by saying she could help me, then immediately turned back to the other customer and continued giving them a full tour of the facility. Ally at Glo was absolutely amazing. She was running the entire huge store by herself on an extremely busy day (Thursday 2pm), and somehow still managed to be kind, patient, and genuinely welcoming to everyone who walked in. She never once seemed rushed or overwhelmed with all the customers. She took the time to answer questions, explain everything clearly, and made sure we all felt taken care of. That level of professionalism and positive attitude under pressure is rare, and it did not go unnoticed. 5 STARS!! Glo is lucky to have Ally and she deserves major recognition for her hard work and dedication.

I’ve been a customer since before the company was Glo, (12 years…) when they started outsourcing their customer service it was the worst decision ever made. There is constant billing issues- unfreezing the account is always a nightmare. I had a credit, called in advance to use towards next months bill and they pulled out the full amount.. Staff retention is insane.. There is also a wait 90% of the time. I’ve walked out due to wait times because who has and hour of their time to tan?! It’s supposed to be relaxing and it’s just a constant headache.. Using up the month of February since it’s already paid for and canceling my membership and will never go back and never recommend. You’d be better off tanning at the gym or somewhere else.

Went to this location after going to the one in highland park as this one was closer to me. I went to get free services for the 4 day unlimited services event for their 16th birthday as a business and one of the owners (an older male) used my credits instead of giving me the free services like he was supposed to. I made it clear I was there for that even though it was supposed to be free for any and everybody and he used my credits anyways. On top of that, I had to start my own skin wellness pro and set the settings based on just clicking around until something worked. I wasn't given a towel or a robe so I had to dry off with my own clothing. The man up there clearly wasn’t knowledgeable about any of the equipment and spent more time questioning me about cancelling my membership than anyt

Look. The young lady working today is very sweet very beautiful and my issue isn’t with her. Today yall were understaffed so I had to wait 10 minutes just for the bed to get cleaned. This is the second time I’ve had issues with bed 40. Today it wouldn’t even start. I come in to tan before work most days. I do NOT spend a ridiculous amount monthly in this economy to tan here for y’all’s beds to continue to be faulty. The staff a year ago was flawless the beds never failed me and we never had issues. Either train your staff properly and pay more attention to repairs needed to be done or stop wasting people’s time and money. It’s a new problem every other day and I should not be spending an extra 20 to 30 minutes in here unless I choose to wait for a bed that’s already being used. Figure this
