Glitzy Dominican Salon

I made the worst mistake coming here, absolutely hated my experience and would not recommend them. They are impatient and worse, are not gentle and have no care or regard for the clients hair. I went about a month ago for a relaxer retouch. The lady I presume who is the owner was not the friendliest when I was advising her on how to deal with MY course relaxed hair which you know is very prone to breakage and needs to be handled gently. I was mishandled. For my deep conditioning I was literally in the steamer for 3 minutes maximum? I don’t know if this was the standard here. On top of that I had 3 people doing my hair ? The last lady literally took 30 minutes frying my hair with a flat iron yet I have very fine relaxed hair. I thought she would know better than to do more than 5 passes on

Glitzy Hair Salon is absolutely incredible! Every time I go, the service is top-tier! warm, professional, and consistent. I take my daughter here as well, and they always make her feel so special. First off thank you for being open on Thanksgiving! Second this was my first time here and it was amazing the lady who washed my hair did a wonderful job, I have a scalp condition that leaves a lot of flakes and she made sure to get all of that out. The lady who straightened my hair pressed it to perfection and price was amazing with deep conditioning! Will be returning.

They always do an excellent job, I’ve been going here since they open and have no complaints. They listen and do exactly what you need with no damage to your hair. Place is always pleasant and staff as well. Highly recommended.
