Deeply disappointed by this experience. Despite clearly defined policies, which include a $25 late fee and additional costs for detangling hair ($30 and up) Glamourqueen was a disconcertingly unprofessional salon. Though they have no qualms about charging you for lateness they do not hold themselves to a similar standard. I made an appointment for 10AM (which required a $50 deposit), however, after receiving a confirmation email and charge to my card, I received several calls and a text from Olivia, who I assumed was one of the stylists, saying that there was no availability until 2PM. I responded back within 30 mins agreeing to the 2PM time, though I found it odd that their system had accepted and charged me if there was no availability then. This salon is amazing. Olivia and her staff does great work. This is my summer and travel go to hair. About to be winter also. My locks always come out perfect and get many compliments on them. Please don't hesitate to book your appointment to stay lit. 🔥

I am completely in love with the atmosphere at glamourqueen salon. Olivia the owner gives A+ service. The workers as well are reflection of Olivia and give optimal service. The first time I got my hair done was to get braids over my natural locs and I was completely happy no one could tell I had locs unless I told them. This time around I did the messy bohemian locs, and i must say I'm so inlove with my hair, I am a client for life. Keep up the great work Glamourqueen Salon.

I booked a particular style after seeing it on their instagram. When I got there, the ladies were nice who did my hair but had no clue what hair was to be used & were unsure of the style. She said she was sure it was a particular style so I trusted her as I don’t do hair so I don’t know any better. Well, once my hair was done what I paid for and booked was nothing like what I got. The owner ignored all my attempts to contact her to fix. Just unprofessional, it’s too expensive to get your time wasted. Spend your money elsewhere… better people doing these styles & neater.

I confirmed when I was booking my box braids appointment that I wanted both colors (27 & 613). I even messaged the lady after I booked my appointment about the colors I wanted to use. She told me to text her 2 days before my appointment to remind her of the colors I want. Once I messaged her 2 days before, she confirmed the colors. Day of my appointment she did not have the color 613 because, "They don't usually have that color." That was not mentioned to me at all until the day of my appointment. I told the lady that I mentioned I wanted both colors and I confirmed with her 2 days before my appointment and I didn't get what I wanted. They still charged me full price. Very unprofessional and they don't cater to their customers needs nor try to fix an issue when it occurs.
