Chelsea has been my stylist for years now, and this was after several years of looking for someone who would hear me and see what I see regarding some aspects of how my hair is. 2026 is my year of Embrace, and Chelsea joined me in that today, creating a fresh new look that I’m thrilled with! Very disappointed with my experience. I was charged $75, but honestly, nothing was done that justified that price. The service felt rushed and there was no noticeable difference afterward. I expected at least basic professionalism and results for what I paid. Unfortunately, it felt like a complete waste of money. I hope they improve their service and transparency with pricing in the future. Updating my review — I was contacted promptly by Bella, the salon manager, who offered a complimentary 1-week adjustment. I appreciate the proactive customer service and willingness to ensure client satisfaction. Thank you for addressing my concerns.

Cindy is my stylist at Ginger Salon & she does such an amazing job every time! I have been going to her for over two years now and my hair has never looked better, I have been getting more compliments than I ever have! The salon is very clean and happens to be on the cutest little street in Excelsior with lots of great shops and dining as well!

I started seeing Chelsea during the pandemic after my regular salon closed. After several months of DIY toning the grey off my head, my color was a mess and I was ready to try something new. For the past two years Chelsea has been the master of my color and cut, which I love to change up by the season. She’s handled everything from “Alexis Rose” balayage, to warm mocha brunette (pictured below), to “I just want to go BLONDE” like a (literal) pro. SO glad I found Chelsea. Also, the Excelsior location is great - super convenient - and the salon offers all kinds of snacks and drinks. 10/10, recommend to a friend.

I just returned from my haircut at Ginger salon. Maddie cut my hair and did a great job. I have short hair and it is hard to find people who know how to cut and style short hair. Maddie listened to me. She know exactly what I wanted and gave me one of the best cuts I’ve had in years. She also helped me figure out some products to use for my hair and styling tips. Can’t say enough about her professionalism. I’ve already made an appointment to go back.
