Gil's Barber Shop

Excellent cut and beard trim from Dennis Alexander (new owner of the spot) this morning. I’ve been going to these guys as long as I’ve lived in Cincinnati. Even now as I’ve moved out to the suburbs, would not imagine going anywhere else for a haircut.

Awesome experience. Not going anywhere but this place from now on. Roger is the best. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Highly recommend

Stopped in and met the new owner, Dennis, who took over in January. Didn’t know Gil’s had changed hands, but it’s in good hands. I was in and out in 30 minutes for $25 with a quality cut, hot lather shave at the end and a good chat. Love having this spot in the neighborhood and had a great experience today!

The best men's barber in Cincinnati. A walk back in time to 1950s/1960s old school barber shop. Very experienced barber. I personally go with George, who cuts my hair perfectly the way I like it. While you're there, admire the 1950s era fixtures and display of model cars. Prices are very reasonable!

Great haircut exactly what I asked for! Good price for the cut. Experienced barbers! Most of the Pleasant Ridge men get their haircut here, and the barbers remember your name. Great place. Very friendly, reminds me of Floyd’s Barber Shop from The Andy Griffith show, a community shop where you always know someone in there either getting a cut or waiting for the next open chair. Good people. Great shop!!
