Gillespie Barber & Stylist

I've been to many barber shops in Charlotte but this shop is hands down the best I've been to. Im a single mother with a son. I get a little nervous around a lot of men. I felt so comfortable and welcomed that I will be back. Very inviting, upscale and friendly environment.

I've been going to Marv for my haircuts since I moved to Charlotte (over 20 years ago). All of the fellas there are fantastic. It is always a great vibe to walk in there and spend time with everyone. Excellent conversation and the haircuts are always good to go!

Been going to Will for over 15 years. The shop and all the barbers are top notch. My most recent trip was just a couple of weeks after reopening from COVID19 closure and they are taking great precautions. Felt safe and walked out looking like a new man!

I’m sure this is a great shop for when you already have a barber you see consistently. However, as a new client I was not greeted or acknowledged in any way when walking in and was unsure how long I was supposed to wait around. I even called ahead to ask if walk-ins were okay.

This is one of the best barbershops in the city not only does it has great barbers but this barbershop has been in business for over a decade, and is growing through it all. Very clean, professional atmosphere and the owner is also involved in his community and helping others.
