One of the nail techs was extremely unprofessional and rude. I’m a regular customer, and this morning I only came in to remove my gel and have my nails cut and filed, that’s it. She was very rough and didn’t seem to care when she hurt me. On top of that, she started speaking in another language while clearly upset, which felt uncomfortable. Even though she knew I only wanted a gel removal, she still brought out a full nail set and acted like she didn’t know. When I repeated that I didn’t want it, she slammed the tools back onto the desk. The whole thing lasted maybe 5 minutes, yet I was charged $10 and it felt like she was still expecting a tip. very disappointing. I won’t be coming back. I could tell it was the nail tech’s first time doing UV gel nails. It was a disaster. Most of them are crooked. Had to get a solid color bc of the mess she made of the gel underneath. I get UV gel so I won’t have to use nail glue. She added nail glue to fill in the gaps she missed initially from “setting” the nails. Terrible experience, def not going back.

If you’re coming to see Jennifer or Andy, you will have an amazing experience and customer service. There are other techs who provide decent work, but have 0 professionalism. I saw a young man last night to get a new set who had the worst attitude. He made my finger bleed from cutting a hang nail and did not bother to ask if I was okay. He didn’t even clean the wound until I asked him to and he rushed everything. I went home with burning cuticles and lackluster results for a design I know they can pull off. So again, only find the 2 mentioned above for good service.

Let me start by saying Shawn is RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL! Last Sunday 6/20 I had a 6:30 p.m. appointment at Gianna Nail, Inc. on Nostrand Avenue in Brooklyn to get a single UV Gel nail repair done, the business closes at 7:00. My UV Gel nails were originally done by Shawn a few days before, but one nail broke off a few days before. It was my first time being service by Shawn and my experience was ok. I said ok because my cuticles were not cleaned, he was not friendly but I loved the shaping of my nails. When I arrived at Gianna Nails, Jenny (who sits in the front as you walk in, could be the manager/owner) took me immediately and began to repair the broken nail.
