I walked in today as a first-time customer and the receptionist was able to get me in a chair in less than 10min and provided me with a complimentary drink. The waiting area has comfortable couches, TVs, a pool table, and honestly I wasn't seated long enough to notice the rest. The shop has a cozy feel, and is very clean. I can't recall the name of the woman that cut my hair, but she was Japanese, name starts with N I believe? I asked for a sidepart with a tight taper and she was great about communicating appropriate length, styling, and recommending a hair product. She was fast and had me cut, hot towel shave, and washed under 20mins, all while carrying a relaxed conversation. Been a regular customer since the original location at Landstown Commons, but now has transitioned to the Pembroke location. I would at least come here once a year when visiting my hometown for a “premium haircut” experience but each time seems to be degrading. I showed up 5 mins early for a 1:30pm appointment, but no one greeted me at the desk. Was standing for at least 6 mins until someone showed up at the desk to check me in.
