Barber: Christopher I’m leaving this review based on my experience today as a returning client. I’ll start by taking responsibility—I arrived a little over 10 minutes late because I genuinely believed my appointment was at 2:15 PM. That part is on me. However, I was already there and fully willing to wait. In the past, I’ve waited 30+ minutes for my turn even when I had an appointment , and never complained. I’ve consistently supported Christopher’s business pay and tip him , send him holiday gifts. I really appreciate his work and referred others to him. I want to support our local business but Because of that relationship, I felt there could have been some flexibility—especially since I was open to paying a late fee or extra charge. Alejandro is my go-to barber! He’s great at his craft and is super friendly. Makes my appointment feel not like an appointment. I finally found my place to get my hair cut and line up done. Man is precise with the razors and has me looking like a completely different person. The whole experience is great. Worth every penny 5 ⭐️!

I've been coming here for about seven months now, after firing my barber at Vice's in New Iberia and bouncing around to a few places. I could not be happier with Gent's Empire, and I've found a barbershop for life. I've gotten my hair and beard cut from every employee there, who all do amazing work, taking their time and making sure their quality is top-notch. My regular barber is Alejandro B., but I will book with anyone there if he isn't available. I've sent all my friends there, who are now regulars. These people are worth the wait and the money. As for money, they are much cheaper than most places in Lafayette, and I usually tip just as much as the cut because I feel their prices are so low. I couldn't recommend this place more!
