Let me start by saying the dental hygienists are very kind, patient, respectful and supportive. They take their time and are very good at what they do. You will not find nicer ladies. The dentist however is extremely rude, rough and cruel. During the initial paperwork, intake check in process I was asked many, many times if I was a smoker. I have never been a smoker in my life. I did communicate that I am a gastric bypass patient and as a result I have severe vitamin deficiencies and bone loss and this has been an ongoing issue for me even resulting in having to go for frequent infusions and taking multiple vitamins a day. At first the dentist seemed short with me but to the point. That was fine, I am a direct person myself. He asked if i was a smoker before he began. I again, said no. He

I have been coming here for 2 years now and everything started off nice. Let me say the staff is excellent and Ms. Kat is the absolute best! Dr. Gardner is very rude, and ignorant. First he asked me how did I get his personal number and it is on the voicemail, like it was my fault his number is on His answering service recording. A temporary crown came out and my nerve was exposed to pain. He told me that I could have just waited for an appointment. Then he told me if he knew it was a temp, he would not have fixed it today. He also told me that I deceived him in my text. I am not a dental assistant, hygienist or dentist so how am I supposed to know a temp crown and a crown is not the same!! What??? I went for a deep cleaning with sensitive teeth. It was painful for me and I was told that if I didnt stop "fidgeting" he was gonna end the service. Not compassionate. Made me feel very insecure about my teeth also. Dont go here.

I went to inquire about Invisalign, and everything went good. I had to schedule me an appointment for a cleaning and x-rays which is where everything went wrong. Dr. Garner is very rude. I asked him would whatever he was doing hurt, he said no in which IT DID. Which is understandable because I am at the dentist and had a lot of build up plaque, but then he proceeded to tell me I don’t brush my teeth and I have poor hygiene when it comes to cleaning my teeth. ALL BECAUSE I SAID IT HURT. I came to the dentist because I wanted help with improving the health of my teeth, not to be put down about it. I've been going here for years and I wouldn't change a thing. Doc and his team are amazing. They are consistent when it comes to appointment reminders and compassionate when it comes to my treatments. Each time they make sure I am comfortable with every treatment. From the beginning they have been honest with me when it comes to my treatments and what to do and what not to do. Since we have great communication about my treatment plans, I haven't had any complications with any work they have did for me. I will always go to Gentle Dental. -Wykesha
