Gentle Cuts

This is supposed to be a taper fade, the back has NO blend and the lineup for the back is also slanted. The sides are poorly blended, you go to anywhere in Manhattan for the same price you’re getting actual barbers. The people seem cool, but that place was not clean whatsoever, they leave the hair on the floor for awhile and I didn’t see anyone sweep so the floor was just covered with everyone’s hair. There’s also drinks/snacks all over the place.

There is one barber there that doesn’t know how to cut hair and he prioritizes money over good server, had one of the worst experience in my hair cut history. I would recommend it but only with the big tattooed guy and the skinny guy by the bathroom chair. The guy in the middle is worst 😭😭🫣 he charged $40 for a bolded head, not even well cute 🤬🤬🤬

I started bringing my son here as my best friend recommended Gentle as the best barber he’d ever patronized. He was correct. Gentle and his staff are great. Gentle (the owner) cuts my son’s hair and he always does a great job. He is never rough and takes his time using precision and professionalism each time. My son is young and Gentle is always patient with him. The shop is always clean and the atmosphere is calm with nothing but positive vibes. My son loves coming to get his hair cut and I will ONLY patronize this shop!!!

It was my first time taking my 6yr old son there for a hair cut and I was really impressed of the outcome. The barber that cut my sons hair was so kind to him and really did a great job. He is definitely going to be my sons new barber. He’s really great with kids. So to the parents whose looking for barber for kids and even yourselves, Gentle Cuts is the place to be!!!!

I had an event on Sunday and needed a fresh cut , Due to COVID a lot of barber shops were closed early. I found gentle cuts on google and called 10:30pm on Saturday night and they answered the phone and told me to come and they will be able to squeeze me within 30 minutes. Great atmosphere when walking in and was welcomed in and felt comfortable once I walked in the door. Had a great first experience with Gentle cutting my hair and he took the time to understand what I wanted and every step of the way he confirmed that he accomplished my request. I have been there 3 times since then and had only a better experience every time. Highly Recommend Gentle as the best !
