Just a short drive outside of downtown Mount Vernon Genesis Hair Salon delivers on its promise of quality hair cuts at valuable prices. Katie was an incredible stylist who helped me turn my quarantine mane into a great new look. Great conversationalist with an easy-going personality. Hair cut: She started off by asking me what I was looking for and listened when I shared my concerns. Once she and I felt confident she jumped right in and was finished in just 10 minutes! She cleaned me up and had me on my way for the morning errands. Building: The location has great parking and an accessible entrance perfect for customers coming from all over Central Ohio I cannot wait to return and try out the other services provided at Genesis. They have truly made a customer for life of me.

Katie made me feel pretty. She was so kind & did a great job!This girls knows how to do hair. Going back for coloring soon. They are reasonably priced. It's a treat you can afford!

Always friendly! Pam dies an amazing job every time I go! Ashley does great manicures and pedicures! I highly recommend this place!

I hate to write a negative review, but I got the worst hair cut of my life here. I don’t understand how there was miscommunication, I didn’t ask for anything hard. It took me over 6 months to grow it out to what I was originally wanting. 😭 Definitely a salon for older women.
