Before he cut my hair, I had not had it professionally cut in four years. I had a stylist give me a really bad hair haircut and I had to cut my hair into a pixie. I didn’t Trust anyone with my hair. After he cut my hair, it was so beautiful and He brought out my natural curl. He’s done highlights and I No, he’s the nicest guy I’ve ever met. Very reasonably priced And you won’t find a better hairstylist in the Denver area!

I called on a whim to inquire about getting a kid's haircut for the first time. He was so professional on the phone and answered all my questions. Even warned me that he is usually booked 2-3 weeks ahead at a time. Luckily there was a cancellation for the same day I called and I took the appointment. My son is 15 months old but he's feral and wild. He's always been squirmy and he's very strong. He was not cooperating at all with Gene but somehow Gene worked a miracle and my son looks great. He was so patient with the baby and paid close attention to detail. He's very professional, funny and sweet. Hopefully my son will get better the more he goes to Gene. Dude is a 5”3’ guy that’s mad at the world for being short, if you get a skin fade expect it to be with no blend and to be bleeding, his scissors cut on top is very basic and does not part and separate strains to get a clean flow on top. Avoid using this barber if you want a clean fade that pops. Also don’t be 5 minutes late or he will be spiteful and cancel the appointment and leave you in the dust. Dude car smells like weed and has a invalid registration sticker, bum

I highly recommend Gene's Barber shop! The prices are exceptionally affordable especially considering how great his service is. Gene's office is clean and cozy, and Gene himself is warm and friendly. He is efficient but does not compromise the quality of his work for speed. I was able to go in there and ask him what he thinks would look good on me and he gave me a detailed answer right away. He is an experienced craftsman and it shows. Plus, he gave me many tips on hair products and accessories. I left feeling great and will be returning.
