I went to Chloe telling her that my hair is just getting way too dark and dull from every 4 to 5 weeks covering my gray. Other salons kept using medium dark so it caused my hair to keep growing out really dark. I looked washed out. I feel, at my age, having that dark of hair ages you, so I asked her to Lighten my brown and put some highlights. Other salons told me it would take several visits before they would be able to lift it. Chloe did it in the one visit today😃🦋 Below is my before with dark hair and then today the lighter photo. I didn’t expect to walk out crying… I booked a blowout appointment at Gene Juarez Salons in Redmond Town Center after confirming the salon could accommodate ethnic hair. I was informed that only two stylists handle this hair type. After arriving a few minutes late to my initial appointment, I was told services could not be performed due to my extensions and was encouraged by the stylist, Jasmine, to rebook for Saturday morning due to an event I had scheduled. At the rescheduled appointment, Jasmine stated my hair was “much more tangled,” which was untrue. She then claimed she had booked a “double appointment” at double the cost; however, she had actually scheduled services I never requested or approved, including a texturizer and a haircut. I

I had my appointment with Alivia D. I came in for brown hair color, something warm and subtle. Instead, my hair was turned very blonde/caramel-golden, which is not what I asked for at all. I was extremely upset. To fix it, another stylist was brought in, but instead of correcting it, she removed almost all the color. Now my hair looks dark again, almost like my original black, and even the golden tones I previously had at the bottom are completely gone. In the salon lighting, I could see some brown, but once I got home, it looks just dark and dull. This experience was emotionally draining. I left feeling disappointed and honestly devastated. This haircut was so personal and Addison just fulfilled my heart's wish. I'm more than happy and satisfied with how it turned out. But aside from Addison's talent, what stood out is Addison's light and nurturing persona! Great conversation over a great haircut! Can't ask for more.
