Gem House

I moved to the neighborhood last year and this is my new hair salon. Elle did an amazing job cutting my hair short... I know it's a good one because it's been two months since my last cut and I love it more every week. She cut it clearly considering my hair texture (kind of wavy) and how it would look as it grows out. And honestly it looks better unstyled out of the shower than when I try and style it. Magic...She was so lovely and really made me feel listened to and cared for. Thank you Elle!

I was gifted a highlight & haircut experience here which I was beyond excited about. My last highlights were in the winter last year and a fresh haircut was in February & I toned my highlights to my base color, so I can start fresh again… I’ve been growing my hair since 🦋 the person who I had set up an appointment had an emergency, so I ended up having Bruna as my stylist. 🦋 the place is very beautiful with great lighting, plants, good music 🦋 staff were friendly & welcoming . 🦋 when I first came in there was so no one to greet me, I waited patiently until I said something to the barber & he said someone will be with me shortly… finally bruna greeted me . 🦋I wanted honey light caramel highlights with hair cut too give me volume 🦋 she started with the hair cut first (dry cut?) and then the

I had such a great experience with Courtney! She listened to me tell her about my hair goals, and I came home with the best color I've had in a while. I wish I were ready to go gray, but I am not. However, I'm not trying to have some high-maintenance color. It turned out great - I'll definitely be back.

I've been to Gem House twice and happy with both experiences! I saw Joyce about a year ago, and Jadi most recently. I have straight, very fine hair and both stylists provided great cuts for my texture. The vibe of the salon is also very relaxed, and l like the products they use (made purchases on both visits). Will happily return!

Gem House is a super sweet space, beautiful natural light. Always happy to book an appointment with my #1 -Tracy✨💛. She takes care of everything and is the most talented with BOTH cuts AND color.
