Gel Nails

A friend and I decided to get pedicures and to try gel nails out this time since it was conveniently close. Boy, was that a terrible decision. It started when we walked in and there was a pungent smell of sulfur, then when using their restroom there was dried urine all over the seat. Upon sitting in the pedicure chair we noticed the room was very unorganized. Not only that but the water was cold. There was one person working on the both of us as it is just the two that run the show there. My friend got a gel pedicure and had gel from a previous visit at a different salon. Tell me why the worker decided to take the electric e-file with a bit that was only to be used on acrylic and anc, then followed up with a 180 grit sand on her bare nail. Not happy. Paid 55 dollars (mind blown) for a gel pedicure that ultimately took about and hour and a half. Water was too hot asked for some cold only left the “cold” (still lukewarm) on for a second. Then left for about 20 minutes so I couldn’t ask for more cold. Barely scrubbed my feet they were left rough. The actual work on the nails hurt just about the whole time. The woman kept digging her nail into my cuticles. I assume she was trying to remove excess polish but she was doing it over and over again super hard. The gel application is fine at best one big lump on my right big toe. Also I woke up early the next morning with my left big toe in incredible pain and swollen. Amazing people and an amazing service. As a cosmetologist it's hard to find the perfect place to get your nails done RIGHT. I'm constantly on my feet and even when I'm not working I'm working (fellow cosmetologists know the struggle). Dean and his wife as well as trainees are so great at what they do. I have never ever had a problem with them and they are always kind and constantly putting their clients first. I love them and what they do and I think they have an amazing business going for them. Do not hesitate to go here, just do it! I always call ahead for the best timing and I highly suggest that as well. I get anc and then regular pedicure polish but usually the advanced pedicure. I absolutely adore them and their skills. Love you guys!

Very clean and professional environment. Quality work, comfortable seating, and friendly staff. Easy to set up appointments, always get exactly what I want when getting my nails/waxing done. 10/10 would recommend to others, and will be returning regularly. Thankful to the staff for making Gel Nails such a wonderful place to get my nails done.

Went there to get my nails fixed because they came off two days after getting them done, mind you, they were ANC. Dean, who is the manager there, refused to fix my nails even after I had called and made my appointment a day ahead. Got very loud and nasty with me inside of the store and I have a video to prove it. Overpriced if you are not able to go back and get your nails fixed when they did not do a good job. They do your nails very thin for them to break so you can come back and spend your money. Please do not waste your time here!!
