Gather Norfolk - Office Space and Coworking

Rented a private office for there day and this wa absolutely perfect. Will definitely do again if I need to work remotely but can't at home. Unfortunately, my office did not have a view but it was nice taking breaks in the common areas. It was very quiet as well. Parking for 8 hours was $10 because it made me choose 10 hours.

Pros: Gather has a beautiful, modern aesthetic, and the common areas are usually welcoming and very clean. My favorite aspect of the workspace is the 24/7 availability. As a neurodivergent person, being able to work at nontraditional hours significantly improved my productivity. The building security is excellent, with controlled access and attentive security staff. There are also frequent member events such as happy hours, cookie socials, and professional headshot sessions, which I appreciated. Cons: Parking in the area is extremely expensive (approximately $4/hour for street parking). There is a garage available for members at around $90/month, while guest parking is free. I am a current tenant at The Gather, and I am genuinely concerned about my safety and the overall environment. A formal notice was recently sent to members outlining multiple serious violations occurring on the 15th and 16th floors, including: • Open flames being used inside offices • Manufacturing of commercial goods in common kitchen areas • Evidence suggesting overnight stays in a non-residential commercial building • Odors of marijuana and references to drug paraphernalia in restrooms This is not minor policy housekeeping. These are fire hazards, potential zoning violations, and potential criminal activity being referenced in writing by management. Absolutely love this place! So perfect for events. The staff (Savannah and Hannah) were perfect while we scheduled our Urban League of Hampton Roads Young Professionals events. I highly recommend taking a tour of the space, and renting out some office space or booking for an event. Such an electric place!

We came to co-work in Norfolk and also to do a couple photo shoots for ourselves and clients. It’s a great location, and the space is great, organized and clean. Savannah and Hannah are so helpful and nice. They provided a tour, helped us with anything we needed and were very accommodating. Highly recommend for co-working, meeting space, a photoshoot, or office space in Norfolk.
