Garrett is an incredible hair stylist with a beautiful studio in Old City. He is gay friendly and gives me one of the best clipper cuts I’ve had so far. Book in advance because he is very popular! I’ve also treated myself to the scalp treatment which is an hour long shampoo / scalp massage - well worth the price.

Garrett has been doing my hair for over 20 years. He quite literally IS my hair. Not only does he keep me looking stylish, he does so in a way that best suits my looks as well as my lifestyle. We have done it all. Shaved head, long layers, platinum blonde, chestnut brown, keratin for my crazy knotty hair, balayage. If you are also looking for a stylist that is sweet as poe and carries an amazing deep conversation, look no further. G is IT. Bonus? His pitty baby Princess Buttercup accompanies you to the chair or keeps a supportive eye on her leopard couch.

Garrett is amazing! Loving his new old city private location, parking is super easy and the it’s so nice inside, it to mention his gorgeous dog princess is always there with a warm greeting and hang during your appt. I get my keratin, single process color, blending and cuts all done by Garrett and when I have an even he styles my hair perfectly. I’ve see his work when it comes to extensions and it’s top tier. I’m actually having him do some clip in for me next week. He’s so fun to be around and beyond talented. Highly recommend becoming one of his regulars.

Garrett has been cutting my hair since 2018. He is hands down the best stylist I’ve been too. I have a pixie cut and Garrett is expert at making sure that the cut is shaped properly for my face and stays consistent. He’s always careful and precise and he’s knowledgeable. He’ll answer questions about how to maintain your cut and what products work without trying to sell you anything. I get compliments from compete strangers. My reply: “Yeah, my stylist, Garrett, is a genius.” Given how talented he is, his prices are a steal, particularly for Old City. His studio, in a private residence, is convenient near the Ben Franklin in Old City. There’s two-hour parking nearby.

I really love working with Garrett on my hair. He gives a great short cut, easy to style on my own and grows out with style. He convinced me to color my hair blonde, something I've always been nervous to do, and I absolutely love it. He's also easy to talk to, which makes time spent with him a fun and relaxing experience.
