DO NOT get your haircut here. I went in asking for layers, and this is what I got. The stylist clearly didn’t understand what layers are supposed to look like. The cut left my hair choppy, uneven, and noticeably thinner—and not in a flattering way. It’s been two years and my hair has never fully recovered. I used to have thick, healthy hair, and now I’ve been stuck trying to grow it back ever since. If you care about your hair even a little, go somewhere else. This place did damage that I’m still dealing with, and I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through the same.

Mary seemed to be a good hairstylist, unfortunately, after few times I used her services like coloring my hair, and hair trimming, it was not such a great job. I went two times for color, and one time to trim my hair; but I noticed the fourth time her unprofessional attitude; like she was all of that, and even rejected to keep my appointment just because I got to the salon 3 minutes late??. Well, now that she has more new clients she rejects other old clientele., Also, she is absent most of the time. I do respect hair stylists that are great at what they do, and at the same time very down-to-earth. Only Hair dry maybe sort of okay. I used services 3 months ago and one time this year, just because the salon is nearby. If you want quality service and products, I do not recommend them.

I asked for layers and they were very choppy. She also thinned out the front of my hair. My hair looked completely horrible. I went home to cry no joke.

Lack of professionalism, called to make an appointment day prior, they told me to come in at 9 am... arrived once they opened at 9 am and the stylist present looked at my beautiful and naturally curly hair, made a face, and then informed me that the stylist that was going to be doing my hair wasn’t available and wouldn’t be there until10 am. I asked the stylist that was there if she could start my hair as we waited and she stated that “her elbow was injured”and that she couldn’t do my hair. My mother owns a Dominican hair salon and I’ve been to various Hispanic owned hair salons and have never experienced judgement towards my hair like I did this morning.

My wife loves this place, it has the best service, Mary and Monica are great, and my barber Idel, is excellent!
