Garden Nails

I went to Garden Nails and had Shelly as my nail tech — she was absolutely amazing. I asked for a topical Hawaiʻi-themed set and she executed it beautifully. Her attention to detail was incredible, and she checked in with me throughout to make sure I was comfortable with every design decision. You can tell she’s highly skilled with nail art and truly cares about her work. The entire staff was also very kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I’m not local, but honestly, if I could fly to Hawaiʻi for every nail set just so Shelly could do them, I would.

I got a fill and pedicure. It cost me 70 for a pedi with gel and ONE fake nail(she just put the acrylic on it, didn’t even lengthen the nail to match the other big toe). The actual massage was nice but the nails do not look like $70! My fingernails look awful. I had to file the tips because they were globbed and the cat eye is see through. She was rushing through and I should have said something but I had limited time and knew they wouldn’t be able to correct it. Overall $140 plus tip for this mess makes me regret walking in there. Save your money and go somewhere else. Sorry to she wrote such a scathing review but it makes me really sad for the price I paid.

I had the nicest and most gentle woman do my manicure. I wish I had gotten her name, but she was awesome. Nails came out great too! My total was $59 because the nail design and the gem were both separate additional charges on top of the gel base price. I came back a read some other reviews and am revising my review. The customer service is great, but I agree with another review saying there is no sanitation. I wasn't asked to wash my hands. She told me to use only water to get the dust off. I also didn't notice any new tools being switched out. They were all super busy and then the second someone was available I was taken to a seat.

I’m giving it 2 stars for many reasons.. The customer service was great but the quality of service done to my nails was poor. The lack of sanitization was also poor. I didn’t see everyone washing their hands, no cleaning in between clients, no switching out tools to new ones, and my nails were basically rushed. The art is there but the health of my nails and customers should be VALUED. I’m understanding if she had a next client but the quality isn’t there. As a beginner nail technician still in the learning process, I wanted to take notes and see if a business and someone who had more experience than me would do a great job but it turns out as I was watching her miss a lot of steps. Improvements are always open but be observant and know your knowledge of going to certain nail salons!!

Walked in and was taken right away. Got my feet done. Did my nails but it took almost 3 hours and there was still some errors but overall it was good, professional and nice work .
