Gala's Hair Quarters

So happy I found Gala while traveling! I was in desperate need of a cut, and Gala did not disappoint (or break the bank!). She is also an artist and has her own wonderful art hanging around the shop. I can tell that her job isn't just haircuts for her, each one is a piece of art. Unfortunately, I am not local to KC, otherwise she would have absolutely earned my business to return for future haircuts!

From the start, she’s taken the time to truly understand how my hair grows, how it lays, and what works best for the shape of my head. She even keeps a notebook with detailed notes specific to my hair, which speaks volumes about her attention to detail and genuine care for her clients. Every appointment feels personalized because she’s always building off of what she’s learned about my hair, not just starting fresh each time. It’s rare to find someone who manages precision and consistency so well, and who takes the time to get it right every time. Gala's hair quarter is the best, I've been going there for over five years. Not only do you get a great haircut at a great price, but there are cold beverages in the fridge, and you have a great person cutting your hair. I cannot say enough good things about this place, and I would never think of going anywhere else. Parking is free in the garage on at the Commerce Bank Building Garage at 1007 Main, just ask Gala for a voucher. It's extremely convenient and they are flexible on hours.

Garrett is amazing! I have never been so happy with my hair. I love that he cuts my hair to look good styled with product or without doing anything to it. I am always incredibly happy with his work. Garrett and the rest of the staff at Gala's Hair Quarters are always friendly and fun to be around. I am always offered a beverage (soda, beer, or wine) and made to feel extra special! Also a great place to get your shoes shined! I definitely recommend Garrett and Gala's Hair Quarters to everyone. Anything you need can be done there.

She was extremely friendly and thorough when cutting my hair. Attention to detail was great and she asked lots of questions— how I wanted different parts of my hair cut, etc. Definitely going to come back
