Writing on behalf of my wife. They were incredibly rude to her, spent an hour on dazzle dry which only takes 15 minutes tops. Her technician kept getting up and leaving for 10 minutes at a time without saying anything. She came home and immediately had to remove her nail polish because it was so poorly done. Ladies, AVOID if you want dazzle dry!

I have been coming to Gaelic for over 10 years. They are one of the best salons around. The staff is professional. They are also very clean, which is so important. Terry has been doing my dip nails for years (and before that gel polish) and is amazing. Any nail design you could want she can make happen. 10/10 would (and do often) recommend! My absolute favorite nail salon in Greater Boston. I always get a dip manicure and the team always leaves my nails looking beautiful. I’ve tried other nail salons but none compare to Gaelic Day. They accepted me as a walk in on a Saturday and completely redid my nails to perfection.

I was planning to try my friend’s nail artist since my regular technician is on vacation. I typically book appointments 3–4 weeks in advance and had to reschedule a few times due to work and travel obligations. I received a phone call regarding the changes that felt unprofessional in tone. I understand and respect policies related to no-shows or last-minute cancellations; however, that was not the situation here. I was informed that a $40 deposit would be required, but ultimately decided not to proceed based on how the matter was handled.

They charge $5 for gel removal prior to getting a gel manicure... ? They charge $10 extra if you want a French manicure. For that I would expect a perfect French tip and absolutely all of the prior gel removed.. did not get either. Totally nickel and diming their customers.
