For 9 years, Fringe has been the only place I will go to for curly girl hair cuts and coloring. Erin is masterful and passionate about curly hair. She takes the time to listen to what you want and makes it all possible. She has artfully done everything from curly bangs to an angled look, to my current desire for long hair. All of the people at Fringe are passionate about educating their clients and they are perfectionists in the best way - making sure every curl is in place. I can't thank Fringe enough for the confidence and beauty that they bring to us curly girls.

Do not go. Waste of time and money. They won’t give me a refund for the worst service I’ve ever had. Erin didn’t even offer to do a partial refund. When she did my hair the first time, it was nothing like I pictured. I asked for honey blonde highlights, and she gave me unprofessional streaky blonde stripes in my hair. She said she understood my vision but then didn’t listen to me at all. They offered a free color fix, but my hair was so over processed and damaged I didn’t want to risk any more damage. In the end, I settled for my natural hair color with a little bit of highlight. My hair is now brown, and my roots are dark brown. After the fix, my hair has still turned an uneven color, and I am extremely unsatisfied. After just 2 washes, the color has faded and I don't even want to bothe

Erin and the wonderful team at Fringe Salon have been working with me on achieving my dream hair for the past year. They helped ease my anxiety around curly cuts, while simultaneously teaching me about ways to prevent any further damage and how to prioritizing my hair health. Got a great curly haircut from Audrey! I’d never gotten a curly cut before- what a game changer to go to a salon where they specialize in your hair type. We had a consultation where Audrey helped me figure out what kind of look I wanted. After the cut she washed and styled my hair and explained the steps so I could try to follow it at home. She was so nice and fun to talk to, and the salon space is so cool. Walking through the Bok building to get there was such a fun little side quest. And of course a special shout out to the salon cats, two of the most important salon employees. I will definitely be back again.

Got my hair cut at Fringe Salon in South Philly (after >3y of not cutting my hair). My stylist, Erin, did a really lovely job cutting my hair into a curly French bob. On top of the great cut, she gave me practical advice on how to maintain my curls and recommended products that suit my (low-effort~) daily routine. The salon itself has such a cute vibe — totally chic with artsy touches like neon "curl-themed" signs, refurbished hardwood floors, and plants in big windows overlooking Philly's cityscape.
