A Charlotte gem for men’s cuts & beard care! I recently found this barber in Charlotte, and I’m genuinely impressed. From the start, communication was clear, professional, and hassle-free—easy booking, quick responses, and no confusion about services or timing. During the appointment, he took the time to listen to what I wanted, asked the right questions, and made great suggestions without being pushy. The haircut was sharp, clean, and tailored to my face shape, and the beard trim was easily one of the best I’ve had—precise lines, smooth blend, and attention to the little details most barbers miss. Mario is the best, I've been looking for a barber in the Charlotte area for years since moving here and finally found one! First time in his shop today, extremely accommodating to get me in for an appointment today and freed up some time in his calendar. The whole experience was incredible, made you feel comfortable and great conversations while getting a cut. Love that the shop has a small and personal feel, would highly recommend to anyone!

Freshen Up is more than just a haircut, it’s an experience. Mario is setting the bar high for barber shops, shop was spotless and organized. He goes out of his way to make his clients comfortable and most importantly he is a talented professional barber. My appointment started on time and came with solid genuine conversation. Mario is a very professional and talented barber. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is one of his top priorities. Very helpful when working with my complicated schedule especially when having to go away to college and figuring out the best time for me to get brought back to life haha. I get my haircut about 1 time every two-three months so I don’t mind waiting to get a great cut. His prices are very reasonable considering his quality of work and the timeliness that he does it in. Waiting a long time to get a cut has never been an issue for me when going to Mario. He’s given haircuts to many people in the league and has excellent people skills. Overall a great barber and outstanding human-being. I highly recommend his services.
