Local Beauty specifically Nicki is truly a master of her craft. Every single time she does my hair, I walk out not just happy, but completely in love with the results. She has an incredible eye for detail, knows exactly what will flatter and work best for you, and somehow manages to make your vision even better than you imagined. She and Jill just opened their own absolutely stunning salon space, and it’s such a perfect reflection of her style, professionalism, and creativity. She was born to do this — not just as a hairstylist, but as an entrepreneur. I feel so lucky to be her client and cannot recommend her enough!

Nice new building, private salon suites are well equipped. Two entrances - one is between the two buildings, and has an elevator but you will have to walk down a hall to get to the waiting area. The other entrance is the stairwell on the west side of the building - the steel door is not marked, and it spits you out onto the uncovered balcony patio, then enter the glass doors into the waiting area. Needs better signage :)

If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would. Local Beauty inside Frenchtown Salon Suites (absolutely BEAUTIFUL building and easy to access) is my happy place, and that’s all because of Nicki and Jill. These two are not only the best in the hair industry—they’re also two of my favorite people on this planet. Every time I walk into their suite, it feels like coming home. They’ve created a space that’s full of laughter, warmth, and magic. I’ve trusted them with my hair for years, and they never miss. Whether I need a total transformation or just a little refresh, they always get it—and somehow make it even better than what I imagined. It’s rare to find people this talented and this kind. Nicki and Jill are the real deal. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else.
