Frenchies Modern Nail Care Polaris

I wanted to love Frenchies Nail Spa, and I’m glad I tried it once because supporting locally owned businesses — and writing thoughtful reviews — is genuinely a passion of mine. The location is great, very convenient to Polaris Parkway, and the space itself is light, bright, clean, and free of strong nail salon odors. The setup and amenities were nice and appropriate, though I personally didn’t love the shared bench-style pedicure seating. As someone who is short, I couldn’t sit all the way back and still soak properly, and I missed having my own adjustable chair. The technician who worked on me was lovely, kind, and clearly doing her best. However, the experience quickly fell apart at the ownership/management level. Blown away by how nice this experience was. I was immediately greeted and given a tour, and the owner and my nail tech took time to listen to what I wanted and show me all the different polish options. Beautiful, clean interior, and fresh made lattes/coffee/drinks included with your service. My gel mani came out beautiful, incredibly thin (see pic) and flawless- a huge improvement from the last nail salon I went to that left thick, bumpy gel. The removal of my prior gel was gentle and thorough. I got the 'dazzle dry' for my pedicure because I wanted to put my shoes back on, and it did actually dry as fast as advertised (no damage to the nails after putting on socks/shoes as soon as pedi was over!). Excellent experience! I walked in because I was going out of town for several weeks, my regular salon was closed for the weekend and I needed my nails filled. Sarah, the owner, greeted me with a 'can do' attitude and told me they could take care of me at 4:30. Adrianna was so gentle, kind, easy to talk to and helpful when decision paralysis kicked in. No drills or nail soaking here. She buffed off my current polish and applied using their proprietary gel. Nothing felt rushed. Frenchies was very clean, no nail salon smells, and peaceful and comfortable. I would confidently recommend Frenchies to my closest friends.

I was so excited when I drove by and saw the sign for Frenchies Modern Nail Care. I used to go to a Frenchies where I lived before and absolutely loved it, so seeing one open here felt like such a win. Everything I loved before is still true: their Clean Promise, the less toxic products, the bright and welcoming space, and the attention to hygiene really set them apart. It feels good knowing you can relax and enjoy a mani-pedi without the overwhelming smells or worry about harsh chemicals. I had an amazing experience at this salon. I got to pick out a great smelling hand scrub fot my manicure, my own nail tools I can take home with me after my appointment. I recommend frenchies!
