I normally never leave bad reviews on BLACK businesses. I took my son to get his hair cut. We were quoted $30 for the cut which I thought was a bit much for him, he was really just getting a line up. It took the guy Blessedcoco_Thecuts about almost 2 hours for a LINE UP. Ridiculous. Then he told my son it was $38 but charged my card $40. I will dispute because that’s crazy as hell. I don’t make scenes but I will NEVER come back to this location. It be your own people. The environment energy was even off. I should have left then and took my business elsewhere. Do better. I don’t even want a response. Oh and it’s not like they were busy. Almost 2 hours for a lineup smh.

I’ve been going to Ntambwe’s shop for a little over a year now and I’ve never had a better barber shop experience. This place holds the industry standard very high and every visit is consistent in quality, cleanliness, care, and conversation. With fear of my barber growing too popular and taking my time slot, I will 10 out of 5 star recommend getting on the books!

Great unisex barbershop located in the historic southside area of St Petersburg, it's located inside a strip mall with plenty of other shops around so really convenient and easy to find. The shop caters to both men and women and also any nationality but has a traditional flair of an old school shop with a new age vibe, appointments are recommended using apps from the personal barbers however walk-ins are definitely accepted and permitted on a first-come first-serve basis! From haircuts to shaves and also hairstyling, coloring and trimming are just some of the many professional services provided here. Truly a fantastic place for anyone that wants professional services with convenient hours to serve you throughout the day!

Poor customer service and poor barber skills. Do not get your haircut with Jason. The owner of the shop stood there and allowed Jason to cuss and degrade me in front of other clients because he (Jason) was upset I wasn’t happy with his haircut.

I knew as soon as I walked into Freedom Kutz seven months ago that it was the place for me. As soon as you walk in, you are treated like family. There is such a wonderful vibe in the shop, and everyone is so welcoming and friendly. I have a fantastic barber named Mike. He has such a kind heart and a great deal of talent. I can rely on him to listen to me and do exactly what I ask of him. There is no place like this and I would never consider going anywhere else. If I could give this place a million stars, I would!
