Foxy Nails

Today was my first time at Foxy Nails and unfortunately I do not recommend this place. I will attach a photo below. My nails were very thick, so I politely asked if he could file them a bit from underneath to make them look more natural. Instead, he ended up cutting my skin and simply asked if I was “okay.” It honestly felt like he didn’t really know what he was doing. At that point, I thanked him and asked him to stop because I didn’t feel comfortable continuing the service. I wanted to speak with the manager, but unfortunately the staff did not understand me and communication was very difficult. I’m very disappointed with the level of service and professionalism. I will not be coming back.

This has always been my go to place but not anymore. Don’t get me wrong they are very sweet. But my nails nor toes look anything like what I wanted. I’m gonna have to get the paint redone on my toes because it’s for a wedding. The prices are outrageous. The navy blue picture they said they couldn’t do and this blue isn’t any shade of navy blue.

Jason (hope I spelled that right 😅) did my nails and pedicure today, and killed it as always. His attention to detail, patience, and precision are unmatched. He doesn’t rush, matches my vibe perfectly, and always makes sure I’m comfortable and loving the progress as he goes. Every time he does my pedicure, I end up halfway asleep — if I don’t fully knock out 😌. That’s how relaxed he gets me. He even went out of his way to make my water hotter without it overflowing — scooped some out and added more hot water just to make sure I was good. That kind of care and effort stands out. The shop is super clean, comfy, and has that calm, peaceful energy that makes you wanna stay all day. Jason takes pride in his work, and it shows. I normally don’t leave reviews, but my experience here was unacceptable. I called ahead of time to make sure they could take me and my cousin since it was later in the evening, and they said it was fine. But once we arrived, it was obvious they didn’t want us there. During the service, the tech cut me twice and my cousin once, and we were actually bleeding. They rushed through everything, and the tools did not seem to be handled safely. On top of that, we were overcharged by $100, and when I politely asked about the extra charges, the worker said she did not understand me. This was unprofessional, unsafe, and completely disappointing.

I’ve never been to a nail salon and told to choose my own acrylic, and how to lay the flowers that I asked for. I also had to ask him for a second coat if pink on the French. I asked for short and I had to ask about 4 times, I explained I was having my baby next week and didn’t need long nails. The attitude of the guy I always go to Jason because I didn’t want my nails slapped dashed. I change mind with the shape after he cut the tips down and I’m not sure if that’s what got him pissed but he charge me $80 for that set. I’ve had much longer and nicer sets for the same price. I skipped the pedicure I was going to do because that attitude was nasty. I will NEVER return!!
