I saw Gwenyth after just searching around on google for a new stylist. I saw she specializes in razor cuts and shags so decided to try! After a few failed cuts not really getting what I wanted (and a failed cut from myself lol) she has been the first to give me the layers I have been looking for! She kept the overall length like I asked for but sheared a quite a bit off everywhere else, and with all that weight gone we discovered my hair is actually a little bit wavy! So not only did she reveal this for me but also gave me some tips for styling it myself! She seems very interested in longevity of the cut and providing something with the maintenance level that you prefer. Very excited to grow mine out a bit for more length and return again! Schylia was amazing! Took my very vague description and got it perfect! Highly recommend. I am not a fan of getting my hair done and typically avoid it as long as I can. However, this experience was relaxing and I might actually keep up with it.

Awesome salon! So light and bright and airy inside. A very relaxing environment. Mckenzie is the greatest! She’s done my hair for many years and I’m always more than pleased with the results. I have very thick/coarse/wavy hair and she knows just the way to cut and style it to tame it and make it look it’s best!

I had the honor to receive a haircut from Schylia and it was a wonderful experience! I gave them a brief consultation and prompt of what I wanted and they pulled it off beyond my expectations-- both with quality of service, and efficiency in terms of how fast they finished my cut (it took just around 40 minutes!) I get anxiety going to hairdressers and the associated small talk, but I felt so comfortable in Schylia's care. I wholly recommend them to anyone who has my similar problems, or who might just be queer! It always makes me so happy to see my fellow kin in professional settings able to be out and proud, especially with an establishment that supports them. I'll be back for sure when I need a trim :-)

This is a fantastic salon in a great Manette location. My husband and daughter followed McKenzie from another salon, and persuaded me to start getting my hair styled by her as well (a great decision!). The entire staff at Fox Hollow is talented, friendly and passionate about providing excellent service. You cannot go wrong with McKenzie or Lydia! And, they will soon have a third stylist, who is also amazing.
