Four Seasons Nail Spa

I had my gel manicure and pedicure done at Four Seasons Nail Salon ☺️ today. during one of my visits to Chicago with my husband for his business trip! and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. This was actually my first time trying a nail salon in Chicago, as I usually get my nails done in Amsterdam. My gel manicure had already been about four weeks old, so I really needed proper care this time. I chose Four Seasons Nail Salon because it had such strong reviews on Google Maps and seemed to be one of the best-rated nail salons in the area. Even so, I felt a bit nervous before going because nail salons can sometimes be unpredictable. Thankfully, Four Seasons Nail Salon did not disappoint me at all. I went this past Wednesday, December 10th as a last minute walk in. I don’t live in Chicago but this place had great reviews. All I needed was a 2 color Gel Manicure. No extensions, nothing fancy. I’ve had multiple gel manicures prior so I knew what to expect. Everything was fine, she was nice enough but was talking the whole time to her friend that was sitting next to her the whole time. I paid, tipped on Venmo and moved on. But later that evening I felt a bubble in one of my nails. Shortly after that the first nail polish moved and tore off. Then the next day, a second nail bubbled and eventually tore away. I couldn’t go back or I would have. But I’m very disappointed. Today another nail is chipping and tearing away. I now have to go pay to have them fixed and do it the correct way.

NAILA provided me with the BEST mani / pedi that I have ever had! I am so upset that I will not be this satisfied back home in NYC. I may have to travel to this salon on a monthly. That's how good my experience was. She took her time and I didn't feel like my service was rushed. I have an issue with my little toe nail ( non existent ) , she was able to file and paint the little bit that I do have. I keep my nails short and she was able to create a beautiful natural shape that makes my hands look so beautiful 😍. So glad I found this place!

The experience I had at this nail salon was absolutely HORRIBLE. I made a reservation because of the high online reviews, but now I seriously question where those ratings come from. The nail technician was amateur at best. Honestly, I could have done a better job myself. She used basic nail polish that anyone could have at home. Worse, instead of curing each layer properly, she applied two color layers and the top coat together while the previous layers were still wet. You could literally see the brush dragging and damaging the layers underneath. Most shockingly, she never used a UV light even once and simply let everything air dry. I initially thought it might be some new technique, but it turned out to be complete nonsense. The polish did not even last half an hour before starting to cra
