She came highly recommended, and from the very beginning she was incredibly supportive of my vision and the style I was going for. She’s definitely opinionated in the best way — I actually prefer a stylist who knows her craft, is confident in what will work, and guides you honestly. And let me just say… the scalp wash? Amazing. She does not play about cleansing your scalp, and with those nails, my goodness — it felt so good and so relaxing. On wedding day she arrived right on time, fully prepared, and brought such great energy. The whole experience was professional, comfortable, and enjoyable. I will absolutely be returning and staying in communication with her.

I too like smiley daily had a similar experience. Nefertiti did my hair and upon arrival she was rude to me right off back. The environment is definitely unwelcoming and the conversation was very inappropriate and unnecessary. She is not professional and her demeanor is bullish, the way she talks to you makes you feel their is a lack of respect even when you are a new customer and have not build that rapport!. My experience was a 4/10.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I got my hair done at the shop some time by one of the braiders which was a good experience. This time I booked with Nefertiti the owner for an event I was going to. She is very rude, the conversations in the shop was inappropriate, she was cussing, talking about fighting ( mind you shawty is probably 35 plus) talking about baby fathers, and yelling while I was in the chair consistently, taking mad breaks to eat etc… I try to support businesses in our community but the professionalism here was null and void and as a grown woman I hope she does better going forward ! This was my first experience getting my natural hair done in a salon, let me tell you it was a great experience. I booked my session with the owner, Nefertiti who was able to answer all the question I threw at her. She washed and conditioned my hair, trimmed it and styled it. She also me tips to maintain my hair as well as to what to not do in the future. I also purchased her hair oil and her leave in condition, which I highly recommended. I can’t wait until my next appointment. I strongly recommend going to her and/or shop for all your hair needs.

She was overly rude on the phone… gave me a bad vibe ngl. Didn’t really want them touching my hair after that. Good luck with your black owned business though! ❤️
