First the good: The inside of the salon was beautiful and she clearly spent a good bit on decorating before opening. The not so good: I took my daughter to get highlights before her senior pics. Her previous stylist had been unavailable so I decided to try somewhere closer to us. When we got to the appointment Kortney was the only person there besides us, which seemed great at first. However, she barely spoke to my daughter, who can carry a conversation with literally anyone. She tried multiple times to engage Kortney in conversation but she got little back from her, some times she seemed like she wasnt even paying attention when she was being spoken to directly. Love this salon! I have seen Kortney twice and she is always so sweet and welcoming. The salon setup is gorgeous! I should mention I'm fairly particular and picky when it comes to my hair.. I am going from having dark black hair to light blonde and although it's a process, she has done my hair EXACTLY how I want! I wanted my hair to look blended, with thin baby lights (only a few) toward the top to blend in my grey hairs without having a grow out line. She has done my hair exactly how I want and I love it! If you are looking for a stylist who listens to what you want and is truly talented with hair, I'd highly recommend booking an appointment with Kortney!
