I have been coming to Flash & Flare for several years and always receive exceptional service! Marlena is so knowledgeable in hair care and maintaining healthy hair. I started the journey of growing out my relaxer. I did not want to do a “big chop”. Marlena helped me through the process with keratin treatments. Now my relaxer is fully out and my hair has never been healthier!

I’ve been coming to this salon for years and have always been a loyal customer. Unfortunately, my recent experience was really disappointing. My appointment was marked as a “no-show” because they said it was scheduled 45 minutes earlier than when I arrived. However, I showed the receptionist my confirmation email that clearly listed my appointment time as the time I arrived. She said she didn’t know why I received that, but they could take me as a walk-in — only if I paid full price, meaning my deposit wouldn’t count. It’s frustrating because if the stylist was available to take me, and I had proof of the appointment time I was given, it feels unfair to lose my deposit over what was clearly a mix-up. I’ve waited over 30 minutes past my appointment time here before without ever complaining

Ms. Marlena is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I love my hair!!! She did an beautiful job and I expect nothing less from such a beautiful person/soul inside and out!!

Excellent! I've been going to Flash and Flare Healthy Hair for over 17 years now for all my hair care needs. My hair always comes out looking its best every time I go in for an appointment. Marlena really takes the time to make sure my hair not only looks its best, but that it is healthy and clean, which I very much appreciate!

Marlena is amazing!! She is friendly and knowledgeable. She talked me through everything she was doing and every product she used, which I really appreciated. My hair looks so good and feels so soft! I left very happy and will definitely be back.
