First Studio

Am so impressed with the quality and diversity of artwork in A Show of Resistance! From the very personal to the world stage, all of these artists (yes, I'm one of them) have put their heart and soul into their message. These messages of Resistance run the gamut from gentle to in-you-face with a few subtle enough to make you ponder. I am loud and proud to be among so many great talents ~ Thanks for the inclusion!

We were deeply disappointed by this art installation. While we respect artistic freedom and emotion, most pieces focused on violence and hate—especially toward our country and leadership. We hoped for art that inspires with love, hope, and meaningful reflection, not graphic imagery like bloody hatchets, knives in faces, burning flags. It felt like many of the artists, perhaps unknowingly, were echoing a popular narrative without deeper thought—misguided and swept up in a trend that diminishes rather than elevates. A missed opportunity for thoughtful expression. (With that said, the event itself was well organized and the building was cool)

First Friday gallery event. Well curated show with a variety of media from local artists around a similar theme. Volunteers had snacks available and there was a lot of positive energy. This was previously a tv studio and there is historical appreciation for local live tv pioneers.

We attended a Downtown Chamber Music Concert. Intimate space for the concert. Originally the KPHO-TV ecording studio where they filmed Wallace and Ladmo! Lots of art to view and buy as well as memorabilia on three levels. A must see!

Great venue for the Downtown Chamber Music. The building is of historical interest. Parking is free, with a small attached lot with additional across the street.
