First Impressions Barbershop

Poor impression seems to be the correct name. First I go in and the shop is empty, only 1 barber working. Apparently there was another one but he peeked his head around from the back and decided to go eat instead. The one who cut my hair seems unmotivated and way too nonchalant almost like he didn’t want to be there. I asked for a four up top and a low fade which came out ok except for the line up. The front of my head was lined up like a downhill slope. Awful. I’ve been looking for a barber since I moved to Tavares since my usual barber is over an hour away and so far I’ve seen nothing but disappointment. I’m not sure if it’s all the barbers in Tavares but I definitely won’t be coming back to this shop.

Great experience every time . I always get a skin high fade and beard trimming. They always have you looking top notch.

Apparently, the barber named Anthony is award winning. I went in for a fade, and my son got a cut as well. He was super quick, professional, and precise. I had a hard time finding a barber in this area to give me a haircut like back on Jersey. This guy is on point. I'm definitely going back every 2 weeks. He also had colored spray for my sons hair. My wife was impressed.

Really not impressed. Brought a 2 year old to get superglue cut out of his hair and let the barber know that was the main reason for the haircut and he continued to cut around it and pull his hair to brush/come trim with the razor for 30 minutes until we felt that it was still there. Guy clearly is not good with toddlers and I wish he would have just said so instead of putting him through an unnecessarily traumatic haircut as he’s NEVER had issues in the past with them. Owner seemed more with it and tried to give the barber a chance to handle his own business but at the young impressionable 2 year old’s expense. I won’t be back. Good atmosphere for and young boy to have the barber experience though. What a shame.

First impressions really do matter when trying something new and this barbershop lives up to their name. We recently moved to the area and my son needed a new barber. This place makes you feel welcomed and the barbers here are really engaging. I took the chance as a 'walk in' and let Adria cut my son's hair. She did an amazing job and did exactly what I wanted for my son's hair. My son loved coming here since his first cut and I will keep coming back. Thanks for all you do!
