This was my first and last time coming here. The barber (his name was Ron) used clippers that felt extremely sharp, moved way too fast, and kept trying to talk even after I told him I had earbuds in to block out the loud noise. Honestly, he talked more than he paid attention to cutting my hair because when he was done, my line up was crooked and I had to make him fix it. He was very friendly and nice, I’ll admit that but that doesn’t excuse the experience and cut I received. When I got home, I noticed several scratches and irritation on the back of my neck which have now broken out and are burning. I’ve never had this issue anywhere else, so I strongly believe the tools weren’t properly sanitized or handled carefully. It’s kinda my fault I didn’t pay more attention to the guy but yeah I wi

First decisions barbershop has been open for 35 years in the same location, near 40th & Walnut, 2 blocks away on 40th. Ron & Ty are professional. Please ignore the NEGATIVE reviews written by haters lol. 35 years is a long time to serve people, Ty & Ron ask each customer how they want thier hair cut. Females get thier hair colored, relaxed & curled in this barbershop. First Decisions barbershop has positive energy vibes. Ron gave me my first Mohawk haircut & he drew a butterfly & lotus flower on the sides of my head. These barbershop can cut & style of textures of hair. If you're looking for a professional barbershop come to First Decisions, for 35 years Ron & Ty have cut thousands of people's hair, including thier children & grandchildren. First Decisions delivered on an incredible hair-cutting experience. Ty = Master Barber. While I was sitting in that chair, I came to the conclusion that Ty truly cares about his craft and the art of cutting hair. My son was also the proud and blessed recipient of a magical haircut. One of the best barbers to put clippers, scissors and a blade to my dome. Period. End of story. I'm Ciphurphace and I approve this message.

He was so kind. My 3 year old was very scared getting his hair cut by a stranger, but the entire time he [the barber] was very patient and did an incredible job even though my toddler was moving the whole time. I highly recommend

Pls don’t go with Ty. I genuinely think he’s a random guy that picked up clippers bro does not know what he’s doing at all and had horrible attitude
