It would have been a 5 star review... I had a broken tooth extracted. It was a fast, clean, and relatively painless procedure. The staff were all polite, the place is well-kept, dentist was amicable. So, why 2 stars? My prescriptions were not sent to my pharmacy. By the time I found this out their office was closed. No big deal, I can tough it out for a night. Friday, the next morning, and their office is closed. Im in a lot of discomfort at this point. I call the emergency line they have in their after-hours message. The lady who answered was polite. She told me there was an issue with their prescription program and that they weren't getting sent to the pharmacy. Age tells me she will call me back when my prescriptions have been written. I was lied to about the out of pocket cost of my wisdom teeth extraction. I gave the billing office updated insurance information 2 months before the appointment to send an auth and get verification. I was sent an updated treatment plan a week before procedure for $870 out of pocket. When I arrived on appointment day the out of pocket was $1700. Im disapointed because as a health care provider myself, I declined patients this day to get the procedure. I also did my due dilligence to try to get an accurate estimate (starting 2 months before appointment.) I was not expecting the procedure price to nearly double. First time at First Coast Oral Surgery. The staff is excellent! How good was the Dentist? My appointment was for 1pm and at 2 pm I was driving home after having 4 teeth pulled! He was da bomb! I highly recommend First Coast Oral Surgery! *****

ABSOLUTELY TOP TIER CARE. Compassionate, gentle and thorough. Excellent communication from first call to schedule, all the way to completion of the extraction. Their staff made everything so easy and seamless! Dr. Massaro explained everything perfectly and made sure everything was clear before a single care plan was suggested. Office was clean and inviting, and all in the office behaved with first rate professionalism and made me feel safe and comfortable. Highly recommend!
