First Blu Cactus Nails

I am writing this review to warn others about my experience and the lack of professionalism and sanitation at this salon. Shortly after receiving a pedicure here, I developed paronychia, which is a bacterial infection of the skin around the nail. Paronychia is commonly caused by improper sanitation, contaminated tools, or trauma to the cuticle area all of which are risks during nail services if proper hygiene is not followed. I had to visit the doctor 3 times, and medical documentation confirms this diagnosis. When I returned to the salon to request a refund and calmly explained my medical diagnosis, I was met with extreme rudeness and dismissiveness. I did not raise my voice at any time. I simply provided my medical paperwork to show the seriousness of the situation. The owner repeated

The lady was nice but would not recommend. Cut me pretty bad on my finger (I was bleeding and it still hurts 3 days later) and she wouldn’t acknowledge when I told her the polish was burning my wound. She just kept saying she would put Neosporin on at the end. Was not a great visit. And my nails didn’t last at all. Yes I got regular polish, but I do that often and they have lasted longer than 1 day. I won’t even get into the rushed mediocre pedicure I got.

Hi my name is Cameron . I had gotten my nails done as a back up only July 4th . Since everything was closed . I had gotten my toes done from this place and let me tell you . A total nightmare . I had went to cosmetology school in my previous years . This place is so filthy . They reuse their materials on different people . The lady doing my pedicure literally was breaking my skin around my toes . She had a dress on as well & was so not lady like . Sitting down in a chair doing nails and I can clearly see your underwear . But that’s besides the point ! I left and the nails were horribly thin. AKA cheap products . By the time I walked a few min I felt my toes and went back . They were closed ! Before I left I saw a miniature baby roach creep up behind this lady doing my nails & she was calli

So I usually go to Walmart for my nails, but I only had an hour and a half and they couldn’t get me in. So I walked across the parking lot to First Blu Cactus nails. I walked in they had one client told them I needed a full set and pedicure, but had to be done in an hour and a half so they had 2 people working on me. I did white tip acrylic and basic pedi. Total came to 96$ which in my opinion is to much especially with the job they did. Toes were ok besides one should have been filed more evenly. Nails had a bubble on thumb and multiple nails uneven and crooked pics look better then in person. At Walmart I would have paid 76$ and definitely better job. I’m not going to say don’t go there cause I know it’s there lively hood, but I will say use caution and honestly I feel they are charging

I’m not a regular at getting my nails done so it’s not a huge deal, but I’d like to spare others their time. There is polish on my cuticles and glue on my hands. One may say, why didn’t you have them fix it? Why.... because I already spent two hours there. I don’t know what’s up with the acrylic product they use, but it feels like there isn’t any on the part of the nail they glued on. They were nice people, but even for a lady who doesn’t get her nails done regularly.... It wasn’t worth the money.
