Fingers and Toes

I hate hate doing this but I got the worst manicure of my life. I have never done nails but I’m 99% sure I could have done a better job. They came out to $55 for a regular gel manicure and there turned out so bumpy and so un even and the sides were not clean at all. I wish wish wish I could get my money back. The place was cute inside but never again.

I went with 2 other women to get manicures and/or pedicures. The prices were not posted and I had a dip French manicure. The employee did not seem to know what she was doing, spending nearly 2 hours to get my nails “acceptable”. When I got to the register, I was FLOORED when she said $80! For one mediocre dip manicure. 100% would not recommend!

I got a gel manicure here the first one I’ve ever had and it looked really pretty, but I noticed she was filing my nails too close to the edge. I came in about six weeks later to get the gel taken off and they said it was OK to put another gelcoat on. One of my nails had cracked at the nailbed, but I didn’t attribute it to the gel- because I didn’t know that gel manicures can be hard on nails. With their advice, I got another set of gel nails, and was told to take a break after that said. She filed my nails down way too much, and it actually hurt. she filed way too close to my nail bed, making the nails weaker. About four days after the gel manicure three of my nails cracked at the nail bed. Several others are much flimsier and about to crack. I’m positive this is because of poor gel/fili

My two teen girls made appointments for mani&pedis yesterday and when they were finished my daughter said please add a 10% tip to the bill. The woman said “no 20%” and while my daughter and her friend said again, “10% percent please” she said no 20% and added the 20 percent gratuity onto my card. Not to mention no prices were posted and it was a $200 mani/pedi for two teens. So with the $40 tip on top I’d say we won’t be going back. My daughters toes also smeared on her way home as they make the girl exit with wet toes… I think this salon sees mill valley teens with a credit card and just makes up pricing as they fee fit. Hmmmm… I’d say choose elsewhere…
