Fatou Professional African Hair Braiding

I've been to her to have my hair braided before, never in the winter though. My chair was directly next to the window. Which was not insulated you could see the blinds moving it was so much wind coming through. The temperature was 9 degrees outside it was bitterly COLD. I told her I was cold multiple times, her response was my heat is on 70. I was freezing my feet felt like blocks of ice, the more I complained the sister kept snatching my head telling me to stop moving. I was moving because I was shivering from the cold. I tried to cover my legs up with my coat it didn't help. Her sister is mean and hateful she said I have asthma and I can't be hot. The company that she had kept their coat and hat on the entire time they were there. My hair was just ok, she was mad and didn't get the wate

Very bad hair stylist. Very inconsiderate of their customers. All they want Is your money . The place was very Cold in the winter and they had the Windows open. She claim it was because they fried fish and the place smelled like fish. They have people and guys running in and out the back of the Door. Its not a confortable place to be at all. The lady has a Sister thats not friendly. Shes always frowning at you with her ugly self. PLEASE take yall money somewhere else. Their just not good people to deal with.

Got my hair done here twice, loved it, my braider was very friendly,fast and accommodating. I get LOTS of compliments

I wish that I could give negative stars. If owner says she is going to get her sister to do your hair, RUN, DO NOT WALK out of the shop. If you are getting simple cornrows then you are fine but anything else take your money elsewhere. They told me to get a particular hair for the style I wanted and I could have gotten the hair I wanted if she didn't plan on doing what I asked. The sister is SUPER slow. Find another African hair braiding shop. She did not do quality work. Now I either have to take this nonsense down or just suck it up and take the $180 loss. I won't let this ruin my birthday or my trip. Please please save yourself the aggravation of wasting time and money here. Day 4 and 4 of my braids have come out already.

Never go to this woman, she tells you one price and then when she sees you she quotes you a different price. The address is also wrong she wants you to come to her house which is in a very sketchy neighborhood downtown. Would not recommend save yourself the trouble, not to mention the house stinks!
